2025 "Top Doctors" List Features Over 300 Yale Medicine Physicians

More than 300 Yale Medicine physicians have earned a spot on the 2025 Connecticut Magazine “Top Doctors” list.

Each year, Connecticut Magazine recognizes top physicians in dozens of specialties around the state, selected through an impartial peer review process. In other words, these are the doctors that other physicians recommend.

To compile the list, the magazine partnered with Castle Connolly, a leading national health care research company. Each year, Castle Connolly creates a national list of peer-nominated top doctors, representing the top 7% of all U.S. practicing physicians. Castle Connolly’s online nominations process is open to all licensed physicians in the United States. Once nominations have been submitted, Castle Connolly’s physician-led team of researchers follows a rigorous screening process to select top doctors on both the national and regional levels. Doctors cannot pay to be selected as one of Castle Connolly's Top Doctors.
