Thuy Tran, MD, PhD, is a medical oncologist specializing in melanoma and other advanced skin cancers.

Dr. Tran is dedicated to developing innovative treatment strategies to improve patient outcomes, including overcoming immune resistance and addressing complications from brain metastases.

As an assistant professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Tran conducts research on melanoma brain metastases and the development of novel therapeutics and leads multiple related clinical trials. Her work aims to enhance immune treatment options and improve the quality of life for patients with metastatic malignancies.

Dr. Tran completed her medical training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and pursued residency and fellowship training at Yale New Haven Hospital.
