At the Center for Musculoskeletal Care, a partnership between Yale Medicine and Yale New Haven Health, we want to help you get back to your best self-whether that means roughhousing with your kids or running the New York Marathon.
Whether you visit us at our beautiful, new state-of-the art Long Ridge Medical Center in Stamford, our Spine Center in New Haven or one of our other Connecticut locations, we offer a patient experience that is not easy to find close to home. Depending on your concern, we may start by having you see a physiatrist, a doctor who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and who considers "the whole person" in their diagnosis. The physiatrist can quickly refer you to any other specialist you may need to see.
All of our doctors are leading experts in nonsurgical care of the muscles, joints, bones, tendons and nerves. They use the latest, most innovative approaches to treat the full spectrum of orthopedic and musculoskeletal problems, from aging knees to carpal tunnel syndrome. They know that when we tailor the latest, most innovative treatments to your problem, chances are very good that you will get better without surgery.
If you do need an operation, we will get you in quickly to see a surgeon who is used to performing the most complex surgeries, such as joint and shoulder replacements, on a routine basis.
We have ample parking outside at our Stamford and North Haven Centers. You can come in and see the doctor, get a digital X-ray or other imaging, and have a treatment plan developed-all on the same floor in the same day. Our staff will move you through your visit quickly and never leave you unattended.
Our Center for Musculoskeletal Care is a partnership between Yale Medicine and Yale New Haven Health and its affiliated hospitals.
