My principal role is the minimally invasive treatment of tumors. For smaller and more limited tumors, the preferred method is local ablation. The second method is the delivery of material through the liver artery supplying the tumor to injure and destroy the tumor. The injected material most commonly consists of concentrated chemotherapy mixed with other material, usually special plastic beads, but also may consist of special radiation emitting beads to create internal radiation therapy.

Clinical Trials

New treatments for many conditions are tested in clinical trials, which ultimately bring lifesaving new drugs and devices to the patients who need them most. By participating in a clinical trial, you may get access to the most advanced treatments for your condition, and help determine their benefits for future patients.
