What is Clarity?
Clarity is a stroke prevention study looking into a medicine called cilostazol (pronounced suh·laa·stuh·zaal).
Cilostazol is already FDA-approved for problems with blood vessels in the legs.
Adding cilostazol to current stroke prevention treatments may lower the risk of having another stroke, but more information is needed to be sure.
Clarity will enroll 2,000 stroke survivors from across the United States to find out if cilostazol helps prevent future strokes.
