Refractive Amblyopia

Definition

Refractive amblyopia, also known as lazy eye, is a vision development disorder in which the brain does not properly process visual information from one eye, leading to reduced vision in the affected eye. This condition occurs when there is a significant difference in refractive error between the two eyes, causing the brain to favor the eye with better focus and ignore the blurry images from the weaker eye.
