Medial Epicondylitis (golfer's elbow)

Definition

Medial epicondylitis, also known as golfer's elbow, is a condition characterized by pain and inflammation at the point where the forearm muscles attach to the medial epicondyle of the humerus (the bony bump on the inner side of the elbow). It is caused by repetitive stress or overuse of the forearm muscles, leading to small tears in the tendons that can result in pain and tenderness.
