Low-Grade Glioma

Definition

Low-grade glioma is a slow-growing type of brain tumor that originates from glial cells, which support and protect the neurons in the brain. These tumors are classified as grade I or II by the World Health Organization (WHO) and are considered less aggressive than high-grade gliomas.
