Ischemic Stroke

Definition

Ischemic stroke is a medical condition characterized by the sudden loss of blood flow to a part of the brain, resulting in damage to brain tissue. This occurs when a blood clot or plaque buildup obstructs a blood vessel, depriving the brain of oxygen and essential nutrients. Ischemic stroke can lead to various neurological deficits, depending on the affected brain region.
