Michelle Telfer, CNM, DNP, specializes in obstetric specialties and midwifery. She provides comprehensive care for women, including well-woman visits, gynecological care, family planning, prenatal care, labor and birth support, and postpartum care.
Telfer is committed to offering compassionate care to women throughout their lives, partnering with them and their families to ensure optimal health, pregnancy, and birth experiences. Her clinical and academic interests include reducing unnecessary primary cesarean sections by promoting physiologic childbirth and avoiding early labor admissions. As an associate professor at Yale School of Nursing, Telfer collaborates with colleagues to support advanced midwifery education and improve maternal and newborn health outcomes.
