Margaret MacGibeny, MD, PhD
Biography
Margaret MacGibeny, MD, PhD, is a dermatologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory skin conditions. She addresses skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
As a clinical fellow at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. MacGibeny’s research interests center on skin immunology, the microbiome, and host-microbe interactions.
Dr. MacGibeny earned her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and her doctoral degree in molecular biology from Princeton University. She interned at West Virginia University, completed an Intramural Research Training Award fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, and completed her residency in dermatology at Yale School of Medicine.
