Marcella Nunez-Smith, MD, is an internal medicine specialist who cares for adult patients, providing a range of services from routine medical checkups to the management of chronic illnesses.

Dr. Nunez-Smith holds several positions at Yale School of Medicine, including C.N.H. Long Professor of Internal Medicine (general medicine), of Epidemiology (Chronic Disease) and of Public Health (Social And Behavioral Sciences), professor of internal medicine (general medicine), and associate dean for health equity research.

An elected member of the National Academy of Medicine, Dr. Nunez-Smith received her medical training from Jefferson Medical College and continued with residency at Harvard University’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship at Yale School of Medicine.
