Luiza Laborne Kalil, MD, MS

Luiza Laborne Kalil, MD, is a dermatologist with a focused expertise in hair and scalp disorders. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of alopecia and other hair conditions, as well as acne, melasma, and eczema. She also performs both cosmetic dermatologic procedures and skin surgeries, providing comprehensive and individualized patient care.

As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Laborne Kalil is involved in medical education and clinical research. She is dedicated to mentoring future leaders in dermatology, with a particular passion for hair loss disorders.

Dr. Laborne Kalil received her medical degree at Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Minas Gerais in Brazil, and completed a dermatology residency at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Belo Horizonte (Brazil), followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in dermatology at Yale School of Medicine.
