Biography
My areas of clinical expertise and interest are chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) (including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma/COPD overlap syndrome) and pulmonary rehabilitation. In the Yale COPD program we provide state-of-the art evidence-based care to individuals with the full spectrum of severity and clinical phenotypes of COPD, ranging from those with mild disease to those with chronic respiratory failure. The Yale COPD Program is unique in that it provides multidisciplinary care to patients at each visit, depending on their individual needs. Patients routinely have access to nursing, medical and respiratory therapy providers, as well as access to additional specialties (such as palliative care, surgical consultation) as needed. We also offer participation in a tele-health disease monitoring program for patients who use respimat-type inhaler devices.
