Our Women and Children’s Blood Disorders Program diagnoses and treats blood disorders during the reproductive, menopausal, fetal, neonatal, and geriatric periods of life and conducts research to better understand these conditions. We provide specialized care for the health and well-being of pregnant women suffering from disorders of blood coagulation, thrombosis and preeclampsia, a life-threatening condition that occurs in approximately five to eight percent of all pregnancies.

The Women’s Health section is dedicated to the care of female musculoskeletal conditions. We offer comprehensive care for female patients that includes evaluation, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. Our providers are specialists in treating both female athletic conditions and older women at risk for fractures, osteoporosis, and arthritis.
