Treating Anxiety in Children and Adolescents
Anxiety is one of the most common mental health conditions affecting children and adolescents, but effective treatments are available. Treatment is not one-size-fits-all. For some children, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with or without medication, can help. For others, a form of CBT that focuses on how parents respond to a child's anxiety may be beneficial.
