Since 2012, Dr. Gilmore has been an Assistant Professor in the Division of Neurocritical Care and Emergency Neurology at the Yale School of Medicine and a neurointensivist and critical care EEG attending at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Her academic interests include how invasive and noninvasive multimodality monitoring, in particular EEG, can be used to improve the management and ultimately outcomes of critically ill patients with and without acute brain injury. She is a recent recipient of the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI) Clinical Scholars program as well as the American Brain Foundation Clinical Research Training Fellowship and is the site-PI for several national trials, including those exploring novel therapeutics for refractory status epilepticus as well as biomarkers of epileptogenesis in severe traumatic brain injury.
