Our physicians and scientists are devoted to conducting research that improves our understanding of the causes and treatments of disorders that affect children, including the cause and treatment of neurological diseases.
Our researchers explore topics that include:
- Pediatric multiple sclerosis and other childhood inflammatory brain diseases
- The adaptive mechanisms of the developing brain
- Prevention of injury in preterm babies
- Epidemiology and neurobiology for the scientific study of dyslexia.
Through our Neonatal Brain Research Group, we identify biomarkers of growth and maturation of the developing fetal brain using sophisticated fetal magnetic resonance imaging strategies and emerging molecular technologies.
