Torticollis, also known as wry neck, is a condition characterized by an involuntary twisting or tilting of the head and neck due to muscle contractions, resulting in an abnormal head position. It can be congenital, due to malformation or damage to the neck muscles during birth, or acquired, resulting from injury, infection, or other underlying medical conditions.
