Definition

Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome is a congenital disorder characterized by the underdevelopment or absence of the uterus and the upper part of the vagina in females with normal ovarian function. This condition often leads to primary amenorrhea and may be associated with other anomalies in the renal, skeletal, and auditory systems.
