Hypnic Headache

Definition

Hypnic headache is a rare primary headache disorder characterized by recurrent episodes of moderate to severe headaches that typically occur during sleep, causing the individual to awaken. These headaches usually last for 15 minutes to 4 hours and are not associated with any other symptoms.
