Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer

Definition

Anaplastic thyroid cancer is a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the thyroid gland. It is most common in older adults, with the average age of diagnosis being 70 years old. This type of cancer is difficult to treat and has a poor prognosis.
