An adrenal mass is an abnormal growth or tumor that develops in the adrenal glands, which are small glands located above the kidneys. These masses can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) and may cause hormonal imbalances that affect blood pressure, heart rate, metabolism, and production of sex hormones.
