- Infectious Diseases Society of America (2022 - Present): I serve as a peer-review of abstract submissions for IDWeek, the national annual meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). Specifically, I have reviewed abstract related to transplant infectious diseases to determine if they should be accepted for presentation at IDWeek and if so, if they should be presented as a poster or oral presentation.
- Department of Medicine Diversity Committee (2021 - Present): I serve as a committee member on the Department of Medicine Diversity Committee. I am also on the Early Pipeline Sub-Committee.
- Internal Medicine Intern Selection Committee (2021 - Present): I serve on the internal medicine intern selection committee, where I interview internal medicine residency applicants and provide input on their ranking for the residency match
- Laboratory Medicine Stewardship Committee (2021 - Present): I am a member of the Laboratory Medicine Stewardship Committee, which meets regularly to make sure that laboratory tests in the hospital are appropriately utilized. This helps improve diagnostics, efficiency, and clinical care throughout the system.
- American Society of Transplantation (AST) (2021 - Present): I collaborated with another Infectious Disease physician to create educational videos fo regarding safe living after transplant. These are available to transplant recipients to view through the AST web resources.
- Yale COVID-19 Ad Hoc Treatment Team (2020 - Present): I am a member of the Yale COVID-19 Ad Hoc Treatment Team, which is the committee that created and updates the institutional treatment algorithm for inpatients with COVID-19. This treatment algorithm is followed by providers caring for COVID-19 patients throughout the YNHH System.
- Infectious Diseases Diversity, Equity, and Antiracism (ID2EA) Committee (2020 - Present): Committee that creates and implements curricular content regarding diversity, equity, and antiracism in medicine. I have been a committee member since 2020 and was elected as treasurer in 2022.
- American Society of Transplantation (2018 - Present): I am an active member of the American Society of Transplantation (AST), specifically within the Infectious Diseases Community of Practice (IDCOP). I have helped creased educational videos for patients as part of my work for the AST. I am also an active member of the Medical Education Working Group, which is sub-committee within the IDCOP. This group is actively working to understand and improve the current landscape of education within the field of transplant infectious diseases.
