Sabhyata Agrawal, MD
Biography
Sabhyata Agrawal, MD, specializes in pediatric pulmonology, allergy, immunology, and sleep medicine, with a focus on pediatric asthma, pulmonary infectious diseases, respiratory sleep issues, and the pulmonary manifestations of sickle cell disease.
Dr. Agrawal also addresses non-respiratory sleep-related problems in children. "We know that kids who have bedtime routines that do not involve electronics, and instead involve more calming activities, like reading, are able to sleep faster," she says.
As an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Agrawal completed her medical training at King George Medical University in India, followed by a pediatric residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. She pursued a pulmonary fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx and completed a sleep medicine fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital.
