Ruchi Sharma, MD, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in both acute and chronic pain management. In both inpatient and outpatient settings, she helps patients manage pain through various non-surgical methods, such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, and medication management to alleviate discomfort and enhance recovery after surgeries or injuries.

As an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Sharma contributes to research aimed at developing more effective pain management strategies.

Dr. Sharma received her medical degree from the University of Texas Science Center and pursued her residency in anesthesiology at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She further specialized in pain management during her fellowship at the University of Michigan.
