Yale Medicine’s Department of Anesthesiology provides expert anesthesia and pain management care for children and adults. We help keep patients safe and comfortable before, during, and after surgery—whether it’s routine care or a complex procedure.

Our teams use modern anesthesia medications and techniques with a strong focus on safety, comfort, and recovery. Your care team may include anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), advanced practice registered nurses, physician assistants, and technicians working together throughout your care.
