Philip Meeks, MD

Philip Meeks, MD, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in anesthesiology and cardiac anesthesiology. He focuses on providing safe and effective anesthesia care during surgeries, with a particular interest in heart-related procedures, and works to ensure that patients experience minimal pain and discomfort before, during, and after operations.

An assistant professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Meeks contributes to research aimed at improving anesthetic techniques and patient safety.

Dr. Meeks earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, followed by an internship at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at Hartford Hospital and a fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine.
