Michael Ancuta, MD

Michael Ancuta, MD, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in perioperative and adult anesthesia. He focuses on managing anesthesia care before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort. He also serves as associate director of clinical operations in the Division of Perioperative and Adult Anesthesia at Yale New Haven Hospital, overseeing clinical scheduling matters and daily operations.

As an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Ancuta contributes to both the education of future anesthesiologists and the advancement of clinical practices in anesthesiology.

Dr. Ancuta earned his medical degree from Universitatea de Medicina Si Farmacie Carol Davila in Romania and completed residency training in internal medicine at Norwalk Hospital and in anesthesiology at Yale New Haven Hospital.
