Biography

Madhav Menon, MD, is a nephrologist who specializes in kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease and caring for patients in need of kidney transplant. He also treats kidney fibrosis (internal scar tissue) and nephrotic syndrome (excessive protein loss in urine).

As an associate professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Menon researches the effects of certain genetic variants on kidney function and potential therapeutic strategies to improve patient outcomes, including with transplant.

Dr. Menon received his medical training from Calicut University and completed his residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University.
