Kaoru Harada, MD, is an allergist and immunologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of allergic and immune-related conditions.

Dr. Harada cares for patients with issues such as allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (a condition causing sneezing, congestion, runny nose, and itchy eyes due to allergens), food allergies, asthma, chronic urticaria (persistent hives or skin rash), and immunodeficiency. She is dedicated to developing personalized care plans to help her patients manage symptoms and improve their quality of life. She uses the latest advances in allergy and immunology to address each person’s unique needs and strives to educate her patients about their conditions and treatments. As an instructor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Harada has published research spanning environmental health, drug allergy, respiratory diseases, and immunodeficiency, enriching her ability to deliver evidence-based care. Dr. Harada received her medical training at the University of Michigan, completed her residency in internal medicine at Yale School of Medicine, and pursued a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
