Julia Redman

Biography

Julia Redman, LMFT, is a marriage and family therapist who cares for children, adolescents, and their families. She works with young people experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.

Redman provides outpatient therapy to help children struggling with anxiety, mood changes, family stress, school difficulties, and life transitions. She also supports parents and caregivers as they learn new strategies to help their children at home and in the community. She focuses on building a trusting relationship so patients feel safe sharing their experiences and concerns, which may be through talk, play or expressive arts

Redman was drawn to this specialty to provide early intervention and mental health support for young children and families, with a particular focus on nurturing the parent-child relationship. She is passionate about normalizing mental health care and believes deeply in offering developmental treatment through a child’s natural language of play.

Redman earned her graduate degrees in marriage and family therapy and art therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University.
