Biography

Jenna Appleton, PA-C, is a physician assistant in the outpatient Neurotrauma Clinic who works with patients who have suffered head injuries.

These conditions include traumatic brain injuries (TBI), subdural hematomas, cerebral contusions, and skull fractures. She also sees patients in follow-up for their pituitary tumors.

“Traumatic accidents like a fall or a car accident often change the lives of patients in an instant and leave them with several challenges afterwards,” Appleton says. “It is rewarding to be able to help them navigate through these challenges and be a constant presence in their care along the way.”

Appleton works closely with her colleagues specializing in headache, post-traumatic epilepsy, neurocognitive disorders, and rehab services. She says she reassures patients by telling them she is always available for any questions or concerns. “You shouldn’t have to navigate this journey alone,” she tells them.
