Imran M. Ilahi, FAAP, DO

Imran M. Ilahi, DO, is a neonatologist who specializes in neonatal-perinatal medicine. He focuses on the care of newborns who are critically ill, including those requiring surgery or with complex heart conditions. He offers comprehensive management and support for these infants.

As an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Ilahi researches neonatal neurocritical care, particularly developing tools for the early detection of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and leveraging artificial intelligence in neonatal care.

Dr. Ilahi completed his medical degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency in pediatrics at Goryeb Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
