Emily Powers, MD, MHS

Emily Powers, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine specialist who focuses on treating children in urgent care settings. She is skilled in managing a wide array of emergencies, from minor injuries to severe illnesses, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her young patients.

As an assistant professor of pediatrics (emergency medicine) at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Powers engages in research aimed at improving pediatric emergency care through innovative practices. She is particularly interested in using clinical informatics to enhance patient care and streamline emergency response protocols.

Dr. Powers received her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her residency and subsequent chief residency in pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital. She further honed her expertise with a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Yale New Haven.
