Deanna Nardella, MD, MHS

Biography

Deanna Nardella, MD, MHS, is a general pediatrician, international board-certified lactation consultant, and clinician scientist who specializes in general pediatrics and breastfeeding and lactation medicine.

As an instructor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Nardella is engaged in research aiming to improve health care policies and delivery systems that ensure equitable care across the pediatric spectrum. Her scholarly efforts are directed towards developing innovative healthcare solutions that consider the needs of the entire family unit.

Dr. Nardella received her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Connecticut Infant Mortality Review Committee, recognized by the Connecticut Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
