Clara Lampi, MD, PA
Biography
Dr. Clara Lampi is an assistant professor at Yale University in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine.
She is an Epic builder and member of the Epic Pediatric Hospital Medicine Steering Committee, with an interest in optimizing documentation and inpatient workflows. She is also a trained facilitator through Vital Talk, a curriculum designed to teach clinicians to communicate effectively with patients and families in the setting of serious illness.
Dr. Lampi completed medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and residency training at the University of Rochester. She practiced inpatient pediatrics in Bend, Oregon, before transitioning back to academic medicine at the University of Washington. She joined the faculty at Yale in the fall of 2024, working both at the York Street Campus and at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, CT.
