Biography
Caroline Black, MD, is a pediatric emergency medicine physician who specializes in the acute care and management of pediatric emergencies. She focuses on treating a variety of conditions in children, including viral and bacterial infections, appendicitis, obstructions, and orthopedic injuries. She provides swift and systematic care for patients from infancy through young adulthood, offering support and guidance to families during stressful emergency visits.
As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Black is involved in research related to improving emergency care for children.
Dr. Black earned her medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She pursued her pediatric residency at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital.
