A Randomized Clinical Trial of Telehealth Treatment for Opioid Use Disorders

  • Study IRB#:2000042683
  • Last Updated:10/20/2026

We are conducting a confidential, online research study for adults aged 18 and older who are concerned about their opioid use and interested in learning about treatment options, including medications.

The goal of this study is to compare usual clinical care with an investigational digital platform called RecoveryPad, which provides remote support and treatment referrals.

If you choose to participate:

  • You will first complete a brief eligibility questionnaire.
  • Eligible participants will be assigned to either usual clinical care or the RecoveryPad platform.
  • Lastly, complete two follow-up surveys.

The study lasts approximately 3 months, including the two follow-up surveys.

Participants may receive up to $100 for completing study activities.

Participation is voluntary and choosing not to participate (or stopping participation) will not affect your care, services, or benefits.
