Renovascular Hypertension
Definition
Renovascular hypertension is a condition characterized by high blood pressure caused by the narrowing of the arteries that carry blood to the kidneys. This reduced blood flow to the kidneys leads to activation of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, resulting in increased blood pressure.
