Recurrent Cervical Cancer

Definition

Recurrent cervical cancer is a condition in which cervical cancer, previously treated and thought to be eliminated, returns after a period of remission. This can occur in the cervix or other parts of the body, and may require additional treatment depending on the location and severity of the recurrence.
