Pulmonary Sarcoidosis

Definition

Pulmonary sarcoidosis is an inflammatory condition characterized by the formation of granulomas, which are small clumps of immune cells, in the lungs. This can lead to reduced lung function, difficulty breathing, and other respiratory symptoms. The exact cause of pulmonary sarcoidosis is unknown, but it is believed to involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors.
