Myeloproliferative Disorders

Definition

Myeloproliferative disorders are a group of conditions characterized by the overproduction of red blood cells, white blood cells, and/or platelets in the bone marrow. Myeloproliferative disorders are usually chronic, and some may progress to acute myeloid leukemia.
