Mediastinal lymphomas are a group of cancers that originate in the lymphatic tissue located in the mediastinum, the central compartment of the thoracic cavity. These lymphomas can be either Hodgkin or non-Hodgkin lymphomas and primarily affect the lymph nodes and other lymphatic structures within the mediastinum.
