Kidney Cancer

Definition

Kidney cancer is a type of malignancy that originates in the cells of the kidneys, two bean-shaped organs responsible for filtering waste and excess fluids from the blood to form urine. The most common type of kidney cancer is renal cell carcinoma, which typically occurs in adults. Kidney cancer can be asymptomatic in its early stages but may cause various symptoms as it progresses.
