Definition

A gastric mass, also known as a stomach mass, is an abnormal growth or lesion within the stomach. It can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous) and may result from various causes, including inflammation, infection, or neoplastic processes. Gastric masses can lead to symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and weight loss.
