Enterocele, also known as small bowel prolapse, is a condition in which the small intestine descends into the pelvic cavity and pushes against the vaginal wall. This occurs due to weakened pelvic floor muscles and connective tissues, often resulting from childbirth, aging, or previous pelvic surgeries.
