Autoimmune polyendocrine syndromes (APS) are a group of rare disorders characterized by the immune system mistakenly attacking and damaging multiple endocrine glands, leading to hormonal imbalances and various symptoms. These syndromes are classified into three types: APS-1 and APS-2, each with distinct clinical features and associated autoimmune conditions.
