Biography

Shannon O’Malley, MD, is a pediatrician who specializes in pediatric hospital medicine. She focuses on the care and treatment of children who require hospitalization. She is deeply involved in supporting lactation and breastfeeding, advocating for refugee and immigrant children's health, and developing clinical pathways to improve pediatric care. She provides compassionate care and guidance to help families flourish in challenging times.

As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. O’Malley engages in research aimed at enhancing pediatric healthcare delivery and education. Her work includes co-founding advocacy curricula and contributing to refugee health education.

Dr. O’Malley earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and pursued her residency at Yale New Haven Hospital.
