Molly Band

Urology

Biography

Molly Band is a urology clinician who cares for children and adolescents with a wide range of urinary and kidney concerns. She has special experience working with young patients who have both bladder and bowel issues and helps families understand and manage these connected problems.

Band sees patients with symptoms such as urinary urgency and frequency, daytime wetting, nighttime bedwetting, repeated urinary tract infections, and constipation. She also cares for children with kidney and urinary tract differences present from birth, including a single kidney, vesicoureteral reflux (a condition where urine flows backward toward the kidney), and hydronephrosis, which is swelling of the kidney. In addition, she evaluates and manages kidney stones in children. She works closely with families to create clear, step-by-step treatment plans and takes time to explain conditions in simple, reassuring language so children and parents know what to expect.

Along with her clinical work, Band has a strong interest in evidence-based medicine and quality improvement. In her prior role, she helped develop clinical pathways, which are structured care plans designed to make sure children receive consistent, high-quality treatment across a health system.

Band earned her graduate degree in physician assistant studies from Quinnipiac University.
